Introduction
Community Facilities District 98-02 (CFD 98-02) was formed by City Council approval pursuant to the provisions of the Mello-Roos community Facilities Act of 1982, as amended. The purpose of CFD 98-02 is to mitigate the impacts of development on lighting, landscaping, open space and preserve maintenance. The owners of the properties listed below have consented and elected to annex into CFD 98-02.

Discussion
Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the owner of the property listed below were required to mitigate their impacts on City maintenance services by either paying an in-lieu fee or by annexing into CFD 98-02. The property owners below have chosen to annex into CFD 98-02. The property owners have approved such annexation by signing a "Consent and Waiver to Shortening of Time for Conducting a Special Election," and casting a ballot in the affirmative that authorizes the CFD 98-02 special tax to be levied on the property. The attached resolution will certify the election results and annex said property into CFD 98-02.
