Fiscal Impact
The Section 20516 (Employees Sharing Additional Cost) provision will reduce the City's liability of CalPERS contribution costs as Employees will be paying 1% in addition to the Employee Share cost.
This reduction in City liability will be reflected in the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Operations and Maintenance Budget.
