Executive Summary
On June 11, 2019, the City Council made appointments to the reinitiated General Plan Advisory Committee. As part of the appointments, each Councilmember was able to solely select one person to serve. In addition, stakeholder groups were also provided positions on the committee, including the San Marcos Unified School District (District).

Discussion
Appointments to the General Plan Advisory Committee are made by the City Council with community stakeholders providing nominations for consideration. The District has nominated Tova Corman, Executive Director of Facilities, to represent the currently vacant alternate seat of the Local Primary Education (K-12) interest group.
