Executive Summary
Approval of the attached resolution would authorize Amendment No. 7 to the City's contract with Dudek (Agreement 6457), which provides on-call construction management, inspection, environmental and other field services. Per the City's Purchasing Ordinance, City Council action is required for approval as the increase is greater than 10% of the existing contract value.

Discussion
The agreement, originally approved at $2,500,000, provides construction management, surveying, inspection and material testing support for capital improvement projects and private development projects over a five-year period. Previous amendments increased the contract amount by $250,000, which raised the total value to $2,750,000, and extended the contract term to March 2027.

However, an additional contract amendment is needed to continue providing these services and to help supplement staff work due to the current vacancy of the construction manager position and to maintain coverage for capital improvement projects. Contract services are planned to be utilized for projects such as the Annual Surface Seal Project, CIP Project ST011, and Roadway Rehabilitation Project, ST022, which will commence work this summer. Additionally, the contract will continue to provide services for private development, utility projects, and other capital improvement projects on an as-needed basis to supplement inspection services.
