Executive Summary
The City received $850,000 in Federal Community Project Funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for improvements to the sports field lighting system at Bradley Park. Construction documents have been prepared for Lower Fields 3, 4, and 5. Approval of this resolution will approve the construction documents and authorize staff to advertise the project for competitive bids.

Discussion
The Bradley Park Sports Field Lighting Replacement Project will replace aging lighting infrastructure serving the Lower Fields 3, 4, and 5. The final design includes removal of fourteen existing wood poles and foundations, reuse of five existing steel poles, and installation of eleven new steel poles and foundations. New LED sports and security lighting, electrical improvements, Musco Control-Link integration, testing, commissioning, and site restoration are also included. Upon completion, the system will consist of sixteen sports-lighting structures.

The construction documents include electrical, structural, and photometric plans establishing the pole locations, foundation requirements, electrical improvements, and lighting performance. The final bid documents will incorporate applicable City Engineering, County Local Enforcement Agency, and federal funding requirements.
