Executive Summary
The Rancho Santa Fe Pavement Restoration Project (Project) will rehabilitate the pavement on Rancho Santa Fe Rd. between Melrose Drive to Lake Ridge Drive. City staff reviewed the construction documents, which are included in the agenda packet, and recommend that the City Council approve the same. Staff recommends that the City Council delegate to and authorize the City Manager to award, negotiate, finalize, and execute the contract documents necessary for construction of the project.

Discussion
The Project will rehabilitate the pavement on Rancho Santa Fe Rd. between Melrose Drive and Lake Ridge Drive, which is reaching the end of its useful life. The Project will also replace the existing curb ramps at the signalized intersections with new ADA compliant ones. Traffic signal and bike lane improvements are also part of the Project.

The pavement rehabilitation activities on this project will be accomplished by utilizing a cost-effective, long-lasting and environmentally friendly method, referred to as cold in-place recycling.
